My Own Words
“I’m not sure if my teachers know this, but I have lots of interests for how old I am. For example, a few years ago I really liked origami and I was always doing origami, and now I really like chess and computer programming. I programmed something last year where you can type in your age and it tells you how old you would be if you lived on Mars.
My favourite subject is Math, but it’s also my hardest because I like to challenge myself with it.
When I am an adult I would like to be a programmer or a mathematician or a scientist. Or maybe a robot designer. Maybe I could even be an engineer at Intel and design computer chips. Make them smaller and smaller with more information on them. I went to Intel once and it was really interesting. To make the chips they first make a big silicon tube. Then they cut it up into slices and then cut it up into squares and then they sort of project a design onto it and put the electrical circuits onto it. Intel makes computer chips for anything.
My last school was super duper strict to me. We had to sit crosslegged with our hands in our lap. And if you moved your hands on uncrossed your legs you would get in a bit of trouble. There’s only one thing I don’t like about my school now and it’s our lighting. It looks a little yellow and I don’t exactly like that. But it’s still way better than my last school. We get to do stuff that interests us.”
